Description

Join a trio of winegrowers from the appellations of Graves, Pessac-Léognan, Sauternes and Barsac. Together, they are a region of their own within Bordeaux. At the origins of Bordeaux, the wines from Graves-Sauternes trace the left bank of the Garonne River and are world-renowned as a benchmark for noble red varieties, aromatic wines and the original botrytis sweet wines. The curiosity and innovation of today’s family winemakers, who are guided by the region’s heritage, have much to offer modern palates. Presented by Nick Daddona, this engaging seminar will explore the history and current laws of the region, what you need to know about the terroir, and how to position Graves-Sauternes wines for on- and off-premise success. Learn more about how to sell the wines, train your staff, and engage consumers with a full range from Graves-Sauternes. Our visiting winegrowers and additional panelists include Jean-Thomas Doublet from Château La Tour de Calens (Graves), Marie-Pierre Lacoste Duchesne from Château La Clotte Cazalis (Barsac), and Mylène Caillemet from Château d'Arche (Sauternes).
