Regina Sanz is the Senior Director of Global Marketing and Strategy for Joseph Phelps Vineyards owned by Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH). Previously, Sanz was the General Manager, Business Development with The Duckhorn Portfolio, overseeing the iconic wineries of Kosta Browne and Calera. A regular on the Kelly Clarkson Show, Sanz is the face of a new bastion of wine storytellers focused on innovating the industry. Her experiential approach has been the driving force behind projects such as “Shore to Shore,” a Yeti Films-meets-Chefs-Table style documentary chronicling a remarkable collaboration with Grand Wailea in Hawaii. Sanz initiated a 5-year running international seminar tour called “Pinot Talks,” hosting spirited tastings and discussions in multiple cities, adopting a “TED Talks” style forum to explore industry issues and trade conversations through the lens of Pinot Noir. When the pandemic hit, Sanz gathered her team and swiftly pivoted, launching the “KB Kitchen Series,” an internet TV show in collaboration with Top Chef contestants, benefiting independent restaurants in partnership with the James Beard Foundation. On her continual quest to bring positive change and awareness to the wine industry, Sanz partnered with Chef José Andrés’ World Central Kitchen, to raise significant funds to fight world hunger, through curated celebrity chef and winery collaboration events. Wine Enthusiast featured her on its “Future 40” list for 2024, as part of “a diverse set of
tastemakers who are bringing the drinks business into the future.”
