Originally hailing from Tampa, Florida, Walter initially made his journey into the hospitality industry as a Banquet Coordinator for large-scale private events. In 2012, Walter relocated to Temecula and quickly found his place at Danza del Sol Winery as a Tasting Room Manager and Event Coordinator, where he
oversaw bookings, wine club events, educational tours, and group visits.
In 2019, Walter was named Director of Hospitality for Danza del Sol Winery and a second Temecula Valley Winery, Masia de la Vinya, where he currently oversees all aspects of the guest experience. Since moving into his role as the Director of Hospitality, Walter has achieved his Level 1 Sommelier and C.H.I.P.
(Certified Hospitality Industry Professional) certifications.
Walter is the recipient of two Xenia Spotlight on Service Awards, and was recently nominated for the prestigious 2021 Xenia Ambassador Award. He attributes his successes to his dedication to teamwork, employee development, and to creating a workplace environment that strives for unforgettable guest experiences. Walter believes that a team of dedicated individuals that seeks to exceed expectations is what guarantees lifelong partnerships, community impacts, and loyal guests.
