Michelle Martain is the owner of La Mision Associates. The largest importer of Mexican Wine in the US, with a catalog of more than 30 wineries, and over 150 different labels.

Prior to the business, she studied International Trade and Customs, and worked as an Export Consultant for 3 years in Economic Development Secretariat in Ensenada, Baja California Mexico.
Being raised in Ensenada and in the wine business through her family's winery-Cavas Valmar, the promotion of Mexican Wine has been an important part of her life. Back in 2004, her catalog only had 3 brands and through the years business has been increasing positively.

Today, distribution throughout all California is held by her own Company, and in alliance with out of state distributors, it is expanding into different markets like - DC, Virginia, Massachusetts, Illinois, Nevada, Texas, Florida, New York, Georgia, and Puerto Rico.
