Betty is a licensed attorney who has influenced policy change at all levels of government. Betty spent nearly two decades in public service. She has worked with the Department of Veterans Affairs, the National Association of Home Builders, the George W. Bush Institute, College Promise, the Military Spouse Advocacy Network, and the U.S. House of Representatives Office of Diversity and Inclusion, among others. Her publications can be seen in Women’s Quarterly Magazine; the Leading as Lawyers blog; AOTA Home and Community Health Special Interest Quarterly; and Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law

Betty is a Certified Sommelier, always seeking to highlight the commonalities between wine and career success. She is also a member of the National Speakers Association. Betty lives in San Francisco, California, with her husband and their two rescue pets.
