Justin Cardwell is a nationally accredited wine and spirits expert and educator with more than 20
years of industry experience. A wine and spirits training manager for Deutsch Family Wine and
Spirits, Justin specializes in wine and spirit brand and category knowledge, sales development,
and storytelling. Justin’s love of wine began at an early age, visiting wineries and learning
directly from the winemakers. He believes that personal experiences and a deep curiosity are the
best learning tools. Justin spent the first decade of his career as a beverage director and
consultant for restaurants and bars throughout the Midwest and has been featured in Bon Appetit,
Feast, and Sauce Magazine. Justin holds accreditations from the Society of Wine Educators,
Beverage Alcohol Resource, and Wine & Spirit Education Trust.
