Originally from California, Ben Coffelt started his wine and spirits career in retail, leading customer tastings and staff trainings. He’s spent the last thirteen years working for the Society of Wine Educators in a variety of roles. His love of history drives his interests, and he’s always eager to learn about a new place, producer, or product. Recent seminars he’s presented have focused on the wines of the Rogue Valley, the spirits of Germany, the rums of Barbados, and the history of Tiki. Ben holds both the Certified Wine Educator (CWE) and Certified Spirits Educator of Spirits (CSE) Certifications.
