The Champagne Specialist Certification is the definitive official course for trade, created and certified by the Comité Champagne, and globally recognized.  Napa Valley Wine Academy is the official instructor of this certification on behalf of Comité Champagne.

The program is designed for professionals to hone champagne-tasting skills at an advanced level, and to develop consulting skills for on- and off-premise sales, cellar management, and food and wine pairing. There are four workshops in the program, a tasting of 14 Champagnes showing the diversity of styles and terroirs, food pairing exercises, and an exam at the end of the two days to qualify for the certification.

This will be the most complete official course on Champagne for participants. The program's goal is to create a global group of dedicated professional Champagne experts. Registration is encouraged in advance of the course, as pre-course study is required. There are a limited number of seats available for this certification.
