This is a continuation of David Glancy's Evil Wine Twins seminar from SommCon 2022. This time 2 Master Sommeliers are joining up to present an even more evil flight of wines. So much of what we learn about tasting is through contrast and when we put together a flight of "Examinable Wines" we fall into patterns that make it easier to distinguish differences But what if all 6 wines are remarkably similar? Most wines have another wine that they can be confused with and some have many possibilities. Dive in deeply with Josh & David as they present a flight, help attendees work through it, discuss as a group what key markers are, and provide tools to navigate future blind tastings.
