Aga Hilferty
Wine Educator and Compliance Manager
With over ten years of experience at HERITA USA, Aga has brought American consumers
the joy of some of the best Italian wine regions. Her passion for wine culture began with
visits to European wine regions, where she discovered the true meaning of the Italian
lifestyle, filled with conviviality toward wine, food, and fashion.
Aga's studies in Business, Marketing, and Fashion from Warsaw to NYC and her agricultural
background deepened her knowledge of terroir, wine styles, consumer trends, and global
markets. She is a Certified Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers. She completed
her Diploma in Wines with Merit from Wine & Spirits Education Trust in London, achieving
some of its highest global scores and being awarded a prize by an Italian Consorzio. Aga is
currently a student at the Institute of Masters of Wine.
Since 2014, she has been an integral part of the HERITA USA team, working inter-
departmentally with the Operations, Marketing, and Commercial teams while actively
telling the story of our portfolio of wines, where tradition and innovation go hand in hand.
Today, as our Wine Educator, Aga proudly represents and provides ongoing knowledge for
our mosaic of wine brands: Santa Margherita, Ca' del Bosco, Ca' Maiol, Fattoria Sardi,
Kettmeir, Lamole di Lamole, Masi, Cantina Mesa, ROCO, Giovanni Rosso, Sassoregale, Sella
Antica, and Torresella.
