Amy Gross is the Founder and CEO of VineSleuth/Wine4.Me, a technology company dedicated to helping people find wines they’ll love—based on flavor, not ratings or trends. Since 2011, she has led the development of consumer-facing and B2B wine recommendation tools rooted in sensory science and predictive analytics. Her work empowers wineries, tasting rooms, retailers, and event platforms to deliver more personalized and successful wine experiences.
Amy currently serves as the National President of Women For WineSense, a U.S.-based organization of nearly 700 wine professionals and enthusiasts that has championed wine education, responsible enjoyment, and career development since 1990. Her leadership reflects a deep commitment to advancing both the craft of wine and the role of women within the industry.
A passionate advocate for wine culture and education, Amy has judged wines for over a decade at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo’s International Wine Competition. In 2023, she was appointed Vice-Chairman of the Rodeo’s Winery Relations Committee, where she oversees the recruitment and training of 125 judges.
Amy is also a frequent keynote speaker in the U.S. and Europe, sharing insights on wine sales strategy, AI-driven personalization, and data integrity. She has presented to organizations such as IBM, the National Retail Federation, and Mobile World Congress. Her work has been featured in media outlets including The New York Times, CNN, Fortune, and Meininger’s Wine Business International. In 2020, she was named one of the Top 30 Women in AI in Texas and received the Rising Star award from Women For WineSense.
Outside of wine and tech, Amy is a writer, mom of three, host mom to two foreign exchange students, and lives just outside Houston, Texas.
