Tanya Morning Star is a full-time wine educator with three decades of experience, founder of Cellar Muse, and the 2018 French Wine Scholar Educator of the Year. Her elite global credentials include Official Champagne Educator, Official Bourgogne Ambassador, Official Global Educational Ambassador of Orvieto Wines, and Vinitaly Italian Wine Ambassador.
Grounded in academic studies at NYU and the Sorbonne, Tanya applies a rigorous historical and cultural framework to classical European regions as well as the evolving terroirs of the Pacific Northwest. She leads immersive study tours across France and Italy, teaches wine history, and equips wine professionals with practical sensory tools to evaluate benchmark quality, site expression, and emerging potential in the glass. As a Lakota woman, she is a dedicated mentor and champion for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion across the global wine community.
