Karthik Sudhir started Phenomenal Spirits with an idea and a vision, and as an incubation platform to develop exceptionally high quality super-premium and ultra-premium spirits. The Company’s first flagship product, Ron Izalco, is a 10 Years aged Central American rum. Even prior to commercializing the product, Ron Izalco has already won a Gold Medal at the 2018- San Francisco World Spirits Festival in the 8 Years and Above Super Premium category.
Karthik is a highly passionate Spirits enthusiast and an entrepreneur with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science. He has his certification in Spirits distillation, blending, and various barrel aging and fault detection techniques. Karthik and his highly skilled team are currently working on Ron Izalco’s product extensions, and are developing a blended Rye Whisky using a unique cask finish program.
