Sober since 2007, she is the founder of Zero Proof Nation and Booze Free in DC, two platforms focused on highlighting non-alcoholic beverages and the culture driving their growth. Laura serves as Adult Non-Alcoholic Drinks Industry Advisor to The Spearhead Group, an innovative physical brand enhancement and packaging company in the beverage space. This former roller derby girl traveled to London, UK in early 2023 to be a judge at the inaugural World Alcohol Free Awards, tasting over 200 drinks across two days. When not on the karaoke stage, Laura is frequently sought after as an industry subject matter expert by publications such as Wine Enthusiast, Forbes, America’s Test Kitchen, and the BBC.
