NaKenge Adisa is a Winemaker and Certified Sommelier, with degrees in Winemaking, Viticulture, Culinary Arts, and Global Studies. He is an experienced educator and advocate for inclusive experiences in food and wine. NaKenge is also a skilled blind taster.
As a sommelier and wine director, NaKenge has worked at lauded PNW restaurants such as Canlis and Goldfinch Cafe at the Four Seasons Hotel.
In his career as a winemaker, NaKenge was Washington State’s first Black winemaker. Over the years NaKenge has made wine for Washington's most iconic producers -- including Efeste, Delille, Leonetti, Corliss and Rasa Vineyards. He has recently launched his label, Parousia Cellar, which he plans to release into the world in 2024 in a radical, culture-making fashion.
