Willem Van Leuven is a 20+ year veteran of the hospitality industry, having worked as a general manager, bar manager, server and everything in-between. He’s a Certified Specialist of Spirits and is currently the San Diego Market Manager for Heaven Hill Brands. In the past he has worked as the Craft Spirits Specialist for Young’s Market Company and has overseen the cocktail programs locally for Herb & Wood, Prohibition, and Sandbar. He has a passion for agave spirits, seen by his frequent travels to Mexico, sometimes to Jalisco, more often to Baja. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, cooking, and traveling with his wife, Samantha.
