Pablo Cúneo is the Winemaking and Vineyard Director of the Luigi Bosca winery. He boasts an extensive career in the Argentine winemaking industry and stands out for these skills and expertise, in addition to the elegance he provides to every wine he makes. Firmly devoted to quality, he personally supervises each stage of the winemaking process at Bodega Luigi Bosca; from the vineyard to the bottling process. “Our philosophy is based on minimal intervention at the wine cellar. We believe that less is more during the winemaking process, since our goal is to achieve the full grape character and richness, for them to expressed in our wines”, says Pablo.
Pablo, 48 years old, was born in Mendoza, and graduated as an Agronomist at the National University of Cuyo. He has a recognized track record in the winemaking industry, including significant milestones such as his job as enologist in LVMH (Bodega Terrazas de los Andes and Bodegas Chandon), and later as Director of Bodega Ruca Malen from 2006 to 2017. His appointment in 2017 to Luigi Bosca has already provided vast innovation and expertise to the winery, including the latest Luigi Bosca De Sangre collection. Since 2020, Pablo Cuneo has been the Secretary at the D.O.C. Luján de Cuyo Council whose mission is to protect and promote the highly acclaimed Mendoza terroir and its high-quality wines and vineyards.
Pablo has been married for 20 years. He and his wife met at the National University of Cuyo. They live in Luján Cuyo with their two children, 16 and 15.
When he is not making his award-winning wines, Pablo spends time in nature with his family. He particularly loves fly fishing.
