For individuals new to wine, this level provides a hands-on introduction to the world of wine. You'll explore the main types and styles of wine through sight, smell, and taste, while also gaining the basic skills to describe wines accurately and make food and wine pairings.

WSET Level 1
This course is designed to provide a sound but simple introduction to wine. The WSET Level 1 qualification will assist those who need a basic familiarity with the main styles and categories of wine. Students will leave the course with hands-on wine knowledge gained from in-class sake tastings.

This course provides a textbook, tasting wines with a Master of Wine and the exam. Upon successful completion, you will receive a WSET certificate and lapel pin, and will be able to use the associated WSET-certified logo.

Along with the WSET lecture and instructions, students will experience 10 wine samples guided by the instructor to illustrate the variety of key wine styles.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
Must be age 21 or over to register and take the exam.
Photo ID is required for participation in the exam.

REFUNDS / CANCELLATIONS
If you cancel before August 24th, we can honor a full refund.  After then we can offer 50% until day of then there is no refund, however, you can apply your course fee to future classes.
