Peter Hunt leads the team at Victoria Distillers that created Empress 1908 Gin and other award-winning spirits. Before becoming President of Victoria Distillers, Peter Hunt was Master Distiller for the company for 12 years, beginning in 2008. A previous decade of bartending and bar managing experience, a master's degree in molecular biology, and work at the BC Cancer Agency's Genome Sciences Centre, provided an ideal foundation for making fine spirits. Over recent years, he has focused his efforts on taking the Empress brand to market which has included building an industry-leading digital marketing team.
