Megan Murphy brings 20 years of hospitality expertise to the classroom. She started as a bartender in Juiper & Ivy and was quickly promoted to Bar Manger where she stayed until 2018. Murphy spent time in a Hospitality Consultant role as a Beverage Director and Service Manager for PFK Hospitality Group in Sydney, Australia. As Megan continued to grow in her career she was asked to step in as Wine Director, Sommelier, Bar & Restaurant Manager opening Jeune st Jolie wrapping up that role with the earning of one Michelin Star in October of 2021. Nowadays you can find Megan representing Lyre's Non-Alcoholic as a Brand Ambassador. She has Bar Smart Advanced and completed the Introductory Court of Master Sommeliers and is currently persuing her WSET3.
