As a French native, Marc has always been an avid student of his homeland’s culture of food and wine. He graduated from the Restaurant and Management School in Pontoise, France. Upon moving to the US, he managed restaurants in Seattle, then opened a wine shop and bar which integrated him into the wine business. Marc became a Representative for Champagne Deutz and continued on with the Roederer Champagne company, becoming the West Coast Sales Manager. This lead to the development of a new brand on the Central Coast, Laetitia Winery, specializing in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
Marc now lives and works in Paso Robles as the Director of Sales for Hearst Ranch Winery, culminating in more than 35 years of experience in wine marketing and sales. Joining the Paso Robles wine industry in 2003, Marc has developed a very strong affinity for the AVA, for which he has become an advocate and ambassador throughout the country as well as internationally. As an integral part of Hearst Ranch Winery team, he is very proud to work for an estate that carries such an iconic name and continues to whole-heartedly promote the quality of Paso wines. "It is a very exciting time for the region,” Marc says. “People are really starting to take notice of the Central Coast on a national and international level."
