An advanced tasting seminar to introduce the region’s range of styles and learn the tasting skills. This seminar will be led by a Certified Champagne Instructor and will introduce the styles and the best tasting method from the region. Attendees will experience three Champagnes - one from a grower, one from a house and one from a cooperative - and learn to identify and name characteristics of the wines based on style, age and provenance. After this session, attendees should be able to identify aroma and tasting characteristics on an intermediate level, and understand the advanced tasting skills required to obtain mastery of Champagne.
Attendees will learn about the trade structure of Champagne, and the importance of growers, houses and coops.
