Raised on the Central Coast, Alex has spent time making wine on two hemispheres. After graduating from Cal Poly’s Wine and Viticulture program, he spent time with both Talley Vineyards in the Edna Valley as well as Vina Requingua in Chile’s central valley. As a valued part of the Sextant team since 2015, Alex most enjoys the hands-on approach to winemaking that the Sextant team employs, from vineyard to bottle, and being a part of the progression of the wine across every step.
