I have always been passionate about wine. I grew up in Italy near Milan and I have very fond memories of my childhood, sharing meals with my family and enjoying food and wine together. When I was in college, I worked at a restaurant on weekends and that’s when I really started appreciating fine wine. That brought me to study to become a sommelier, and eventually, when I moved to California in 2006, I started working in the wine business full time. Working in wine is not a job, it is a passion and part of who I am. Outside of food and wine, I love spending time with my son. I am also an avid scuba diver, any time I can, I travel the world to explore new underwater sceneries. I also enjoy gardening and grilling on the BBQ with friends, with a good bottle of wine of course!
