Tasha graduated from the University of Nebraska with a degree in Journalism. After a brief stint in US Virgin Islands she found herself in Boston working at a fine dining Italian restaurant. She studied the WSET program under Bill Nesto, MW, and soon received her Advanced level III certification. Upon moving to California, she completed her CSW as well, and continued to work in the wine industry, first, by selling wine for importer Fran Kysela, MS. She then joined the local owners of an innovative wine bar, Wine Steals, where she helped them to open 4 additional locations, while becoming their Corporate Wine Buyer in the process. After having both of her children, she decided to pivot back to wine sales and worked in distribution for The Henry Wine Group for two years before being recruited by Kobrand in 2016.
