Sara’s journey in wine began early, shaped by weekends spent in Northern California’s wine country with her father, who introduced her to the beauty and complexity of wine. With family roots in Campania, Italy, her Italian heritage naturally drew her to the wines, language, and traditions of Italy — a passion that
deepened over time.
While studying abroad in Florence, Sara immersed herself in Italy’s regional diversity and later worked in the heart of Chianti, where the rhythm of vineyard life and local hospitality left a lasting impression. It was there that Italian wine became more than a passion — it became a calling.
Fluent in Italian, Sara brings a rare depth of understanding to the producers she represents and the stories behind each bottle. Since 2006, she has worked as a Senior Italian Category Specialist for Kobrand, overseeing the Western U.S. market. Her focus is not only on selling wine but on honoring its origins — connecting wine professionals and collectors with the heritage, terroir, and people behind Italy’s most iconic estates.
