Description

Armagnac is France’s oldest brandy, a spirit of deep character and artisanal heritage. While often overshadowed by Cognac, Armagnac offers unmatched diversity in styles, terroirs, and expressions. This seminar invites sommeliers and spirits professionals to discover the richness and complexity of Armagnac through regional distinctions and tasting.

Participants will explore how regionality, grape varieties, distillation methods, and aging processes all contribute to the unique identity of each Armagnac. A curated tasting of six distinctive Armagnacs will illustrate the wide spectrum of styles, from youthful and vibrant to aged and contemplative expressions.

This seminar will empower sommeliers to speak confidently about Armagnac, enhance their beverage programs, and advocate for this traditional yet underutilized spirit.
