Aaron Crespin is the US National Sales Director for Santa Rita Estates, founded in 1880 in the
heart of the Maipo valley in Chile. With over 20 years’ experience selling fine wines in the
United States, Aaron enjoys sharing his passion for wine with all audiences. He calls wine “The
Universal Translator” as it communicates the grapes, soil, climate, vintage, culture, history and
the winemakers’ interpretation of these attributes. Considering nobody is born knowing even
how to open a bottle of wine, Aaron is adamant that everyone can learn to appreciate and enjoy
wine in their lives. Aaron discovered his enthusiasm for all things wine-related, as a buyer for
fine dining restaurants in Santa Fe, New Mexico. One of his favorite pastimes is visiting wine-
growing regions to discover first-hand what makes them unique. His passion has enabled him to
visit wine appellations on three continents. An avid learner, Aaron has earned a Master’s degree
from the Thunderbird University at Arizona State University and two Bachelor's degrees from
the University of New Mexico.
