A Napa Valley native, Nick has worked in vineyards since his early teens when he transitioned from hay and livestock to grapes. Upon graduating from Indiana University with a degree in biology, he moved back to Napa and put his science education to work at North America’s leading wine laboratory, ETS Labs. Nick later moved into wine production and spent a decade on the winemaking team at a respected Napa Valley winery. Over the past 15 years, Nick has worked in wine regions as far flung as New Zealand and South Africa. He joined Copper Cane in 2020, where he’s enjoyed the opportunity to work for one of America’s top wine companies sourcing grapes from Santa Barbara to Oregon and beyond!
