Ioana Benga is Export Manager at Jidvei, wine producer in Romania. With an academic training in Political Studies and Law, Ioana worked for a brief period in the Romanian central administration, before switching to Public Relations. It was during her work as a PR Manager for Jidvei that she fell in love with wine.
It is this love that she tries to inspire when presenting Romania as a wine country and Jidvei wines during seminars, live presentations and magazine articles and also what drove her to pursue a more thorough knowledge on the subject through the WSET School in London.
After receiving the Level 3 Certification in 2016, Ioana is now enrolled in the WSET Diploma program, combining the theory and practice exams with classroom courses and her ongoing activity as an Export Manager.
